How much does it cost?
Classes are between $45 - $80 USD, depending on the package you choose. Take $5 off the cost of any service when you donate school supplies to my charity, THE TRAVELER’S CONTRIBUTION . Payments are accepted via Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account to make the payment. There are conditional circumstances in which cash will be accepted, if you fall in that category, only USD or Jamaican dollars will be accepted.
Do you offer discounts?
“Paint it Forward” Take $5 off of the price of any service if you bring school supplies for my charity, The Traveler’s Contribution . The Traveler’s Contribution facilitates a meaningful connection between tourists and local organizations by providing opportunities for travelers to donate school supplies to local schools in need.
What is included in the cost?
All paint supplies, aprons, and a complimentary water. Depending on the package you choose, rum punch and/or smoke materials will be provided. Bring your own ganja, or stimulants can be provided for you upon request.
What are Make and Takes?
Make and Takes derive from the idea of making your own art and then taking it home with you! The Make and Take canvas panels are lightweight and convenient enough to easily tuck away in your luggage for easy transport back home! Make and takes become unique souvenirs that you’ve hand painted to memorialize your trip to the island. They are great to frame and gift to love ones or keep for yourself!
Do I need creative skills to do this?
Absolutely not! Classes are facilitated by an artist who will guide you in creating your own masterpiece!
What do I need to do to prepare?
Bring a good sense of humor and arrive early! Please 10 minutes early for Make and Take, and 15 minutes early for Paint and Pour or Smoke and Stroke!
What should I wear?
Something cool and light. Although we will be in a covered area and enjoying the breeze, we are still in a tropical paradise and it will be warm. Feel free to wear your bathing suits in case you want to take a dip afterward! Aprons will be provided.
What do I need to bring?
Bring yourself, an open mind, and look forward to enjoying the tropical air. You may also want to bring extra hydration and a personal small towel in case you get a bit sweaty.
What happens if it is raining?
Paint Parties will happen rain or shine! Oftentimes, there may be a brief afternoon shower, but it usually clears up before you know it. The parties will take place in a covered space that is large enough to keep you from getting wet. In the event of dangerously inclement weather, parties will be canceled and you will be notified via email. Full refunds will be issued.
What is your reservation and cancellation policy?
Your full payment will guarantee your reservation. If a cancellation is made BEFORE 72 hours of your scheduled reservation, you will be refunded in full. If your cancellation is made WITHIN 72 hours of your scheduled reservation, you will NOT receive a refund but you may choose another available day to reserve.
Dee's Tropical Paint Parties will not assume any liability for any accidents, injuries or circumstances that may occur during classes. Your confirmed booking serves as Dee's Tropical Paint Parties protection from liability for activities that may cause harm or injury to any party participating in these classes.
